Patient Stories

Tango

Agility

“About three months after Tango placed 4th in the USDAA Cynosport Steeplechase, he developed an intermittent, slight limp in his front leg. We went to veterinarians and a specialist, but no one could tell me exactly what was wrong, even after an MRI, physical therapy, laser therapy, Adequan and Metacam. On a former client’s suggestion, we flew from Seattle to see Dr. Canapp. I got an answer right away—Tango was diagnosed with bilateral medial shoulder syndrome.”

Zar’n

Agility

“The team, as well as Dr. Canapp, was very helpful in explaining everything that was done and even provided video of the entire procedure. Zar’n was almost 6 years old with a promising career in agility ahead of him.”

Benefit

Agility

“Bene had bilateral shoulder surgery in 2016. He’s retired from agility now, but his front end is 100% sound, strong, and balanced (we still get a gait test every year). His canine PT and vet continue to be amazed by the results.”

Ryker

Agility

“Dr. Canapp was very thorough in his examination, diagnosis and treatment of Ryker’s MSS, which included radiofrequency treatment, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells. Following surgery, Ryker completed about three months of rehabilitation and then three months of strength training. He is currently back to running agility. Amazingly, his weave-pole issues are resolved.”
